Dear fellow Charlottesville Track Club members,
It’s (past) time we have an election for the Charlottesville Track Club (CTC) Board of Directors!
We are fortunate to have seven candidates eager to help lead our Club. You can meet them HERE.
Before we select from our candidates, the Board needs to present the following decision to you:
Our Bylaws are outdated and need to be revised. The Board has worked hard to bring them up to date. Specifically, we propose revised Bylaws in accordance with those of the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA). RRCA recommends best practices in organizational governance and management of community-based running clubs and events. CTC is already a RRCA running club and aligning to their best practices would allow us to better serve our running community. To review both the current and proposed Bylaws, please follow this link. You will see the current Bylaws and be able to link to the proposed new Bylaws. You can find out more about the RRCA at their website.
